i bought a 1987 polaris cyclone 250 4 wheeler when i started it up it runs good but when i leave off the gas it shuts off what can it cause of doing that?

 

do u mean when u turn the gas cutoff to the off position it cuts off because if thats wat u mean then that should be common since

 

take the carb off and clean the jets

 

I'm in need of a gas tank for a 1987 250 cyclone or if someone knows something to seal a cracked tank with would be helpful.

 

The four main sources I always check don't show to offer this tank anymore,but could possibly be available some where. I've noticed a lot of fuel leak repair kits at Ace and especially Tractor Supply Company.Just depends on where the leak is and how big.Also keep a check on Ebay. Just saw one that was sold. OPT
