Default 2009 Polaris EPS

Does anyone have any info specifically on the EPS system for the 2009 models?

I have read about how it is better when you carry a front load but what about more specifics of the technology? I have read that it is active as soon as you power the machine up, but that tells me hardly anything.

From what I have heard about it, it is speed sensitive. At slower speeds, it works awesome as you hardly need any effort to steer, and as the speed increases, it decreases so you won't oversteer. I also heard that the non eps models of the XP's steer about ten times easier that all the other sportsmans, that is why I am not getting one with the eps, I really don't need that $700 option, plus, with the eps, the fuel tank is about a half gallon smaller.
The highlifter forum has a lot of good info on these bikes, as well as a few great videos. I hope this helped.
