My shock doesn't seem to rebound worth a crap. Can these be recharged or do I have to buy a new one? If I need a new one, any recommendations without costing a fortune?

It is at it's loosest setting I believe.

 

well then you need to crank up the adjustment on the top of the shock

 

I don't have the bike here right now. I do remember seeing an adjustment of the spring that can be done with a spanner wrench. I thought that is what you were talking about. I'm not sure of any adjustment on the shock, just got the bike and haven't taken it apart to see the top of the shock.
