ledebuhr1,if you have a 2002 Sportsman700 packed in a crate waiting for you why don't you go pick it up so we can all hear a report and see some pictures???????
If you really don't have one waiting for you matbe you should remove that from your posts!!!!!!
I was told by a Polaris dealer that such a machine is in the works but does not exist yet and probably won't exist until spring of 2002.

If you know something than it is your DUTY to tell your fellow Polaris enthusiasts, don't hold anything back because I want every little detail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

Here in eastern Ky you see very few Prairies.I think they got a bad rep with a lot of belt problems and no engine brakes.Around here most all you see is Polaris, Honda, and Yamaha.

I want to hear from the dude that claims he has a 2002Sportsman700 in a crate waiting to be picked up.I also want to hear from polcat2 who claims he knows all there is to know about this mystery machine.
Dudes it is your duty to inform us of everything you may know about this machine because three Polaris dealers in my area say talk of a SP700 is all B.S.!

I went from a Scrambler 500 2x4 to a Sportsman 500 HO and I disagree with what you are saying.
The Sp500 handles great, the IRS is the best thing since sliced bread, and with all the added weight I only lost 5 mph.

your dealers are not well informed. u will realize soon that polaris will not take second fiddle to the kawie650. just ask polcat2 about the ones that are already built. there just sitting up there wating to be released. polaris hasent released it yet because theres no need to yet. once the kawie650 is out then its showtime.

3tv,

what happens IF aluminum breaks?? is it as inexpensive to repair or replace as is steel? don't try to feed me a line of bull by saying that it won't break because everything breaks at one time or another.

I am the "polcat" that you wanted to hear from. If You don't believe me that there is a 700SP,,, so be it. Buy the KAW. To the rest; I have told you guys over and over, I can't give any more details than I HAVE ALREADY. the 700SP is REAL. SOME units are built.... They will out-perform any 4x4 to date.... There is nothing more I can say. I will not send pictures/info on 700's so don't ask. Ride'em hard Polcat
