Ok, I changed my solenoid because of the clicking when I turned the key. i was told that was it. The tech at the dealer said that it was different but the same one. by different i mean less one plug. Has the positive and negative poles but only one plug. Has the same numbers on it as the old one so i dont know whats going on. i thought maybe the battery was dead so i jumped it a truck. before the change the neutral light would come on when in neutral before the turn to start, yet now nothing. Just wondering what the problem could be . hoping i didnt fry the system.

 

Solenoid has part # change depending on build date, but I think supercedes to latest #. Neutral light probably burnt because of too much amperage from the truck battery. Hope every thing else ok. Good luck
