Default 08 SP800 Heat Shield

Does anyone know if this heat shield will work for the Sportsman 800 to reduce the heat on the right side? If so, would it use the 6" or 8"? I'm debating trying this or a Heat Shield Blanket.

Default 08 SP800 Heat Shield

Kyle, I just installed a Polaris exhaust shield fix on my '07 500 sp and am very pleased with who it keeps the plastic from getting hot. Before it was too hot to hold my hand on the plastic. Just came back from a long ride and the side plastic is just a slightly warm. I also added some extra reflective material form NAPA.
You can purchase the kit form Breeze Lawn & Garden on ebay. The kit will work on a 500 or 800.
Hope this helps.
