I have 26" Mudlite XTR radials on my 07 500 X2. The fronts were very close to the tie rod ends, so I put a couple washers between the hub and the wheel to space it out alittle. These tires are ok, but the sidewalls are kind of soft in my opinion. I had Bighorn radials on my 700, and other than mud performance, I think they're a better tire.

I put 27"589,s on itp rims so they dont rub. What a difference in the mud as the x2 is longer and heavier I now go where the shortys go with no problem Its only a 500 and still lots of power. However the tires go past the fenders and you get very muddy But isnt that the point

how do you like them? I was riding last weekend with someone who had the same set up on his grizzly. My frame was dragging in every mud hole I went in cause me to get stuck. I thought the extra inch would help. I was thinking about puting that set up on my 700 x2. any power loss

It's pretty dry out here, so I don't do a lot of muddin'. They are great tires for the hard scrabble trails that I ride. I think if I rode mud I would consider MudLites. I haven't noticed any power loss, but I seldom ride with a WOT on this thing anyway.
My wife bent her left rear wheel last weekend so I'm mounting my stock tires on some 12" ITP SS108's like TankHead's and bolting them to her Honda TRX420 this week.
