Default breaking traction...

i took my quad to west virginia to ride a week ago, and every time ide get it over 50mph my back tires would break traction and cause me to slide all over the place. but it only does this when i lay down on the throttle, but it never did this before. any reasons or causes that would result in broken traction? my tires are newish and have been on it for a while so i know its not that...

Is that not what a 525 Outlaw is supose to do? Be worried the day when you lay on the gas and the rear wheels do not spin.

its called real good power. just let off the throttle. the more aggresive the tires the easier they'll spin as well from less ground being contacted w/ less tread. imo.

it has Maxxis Razr-R tires on it and they have never given me any trouble, but latley it just loses control at around 50 or so. i know it used to stick to the ground like it was on rails but the last few times i rode it and i openedit up, traction would break on one tire and throw me around a bit. all ive done to it latley is take the spark arrestor out, but i doubt that is it...

Sounds like something is broken in the rear end. Jack one side up, leave one tire on the ground and start it up and see if both tires pull.
Something is broken for sure.

It also may be tread wear. A sport tire like that will loose its squared off edges after awhile and will slide much more easily. The squared edges of a new tire give a ton more bite. A worn tire would slide much more easily especially on hard packed surfaces.
