Sorry 'bout the advice as far as the tank bag goes. I didn't realize it was moved. Haven't looked at them too closely yet. I try not to look too hard at what I can't afford right now.
MT, it's a bed extender from a Polaris ATP. They made them for the ATP and I got one pretty cheap on eBay. The X2 bed is a little wider overall but the tailgate area is identical on both quads. I assembled the pivot/brackets first, and eyeballed it to see where the single bolt in each bracket would need to be. Low and behold, there is a spot on each side of the dump frame up underneath that is the right spot for the bolt. The thing that is different between the X2 and the ATP is that there is a raised area on the X2 that has to be cut out to make the area even with the floor of the bed so the bracket lays flat. I used a Dremel tool to even out the bump and a little black caulk to make it look good. I took it off after I rolled it and damaged the right side of the bed and haven't put it back on yet. I haven't really decided if it is worth it or not. I was going to get 3 Coleman coolers that would fit just right (small ones) with extender folded down. If I were to use it, I would probably make a wooden box to put stuff in that would fit just right in the space.
