spark plugs cross reference

Default spark plugs cross reference

I Think I have read on past post you (old polaris tech and if i'm wrong sorry for peging you) were and many others were unable to cross reference some of the stock champion spark plug used in some ATV's to a NGK replacement, (I was one of them riders). I have looked in the past and found this site this AM and it showes a match for my 08 700 EFI. Champion-RC7YC will be a NGK-BKR7E. Hope this helps you all looking for this. I know for me I have been looking to get the so called "champion" out of my ride!!!

champion plugs suck for sure. i could be wrong but i always thought in champion if you go up in number the hotter the plugs and ngk's you go down in numbers the hottr the plug. so sometimes it can be confusing to some people so the chart would be helpful to some for sure.

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Have been using BKR7E in the 700 and 800 engines since 2002,BUT the plug I was referring to was the Champion in the 850XP!
