Default 1999 scrambler

i broke the piece that the gear bolts too and i can't figure out how to get it off???

Default 1999 scrambler

are you talking about the sprocket hub? if so there is a jam nut on the axle. should have a retaining ring on it. take that ring off and slide the aluminum keeper off the nut and hub. then loosen the jam nut and the hub should slide off. might require a little *help* but should take too much to slide it off the axle

i got the aluminum keeper off but now i can't get the jam nut off any ideas????
