Unfortunetly, I haven't been able to find the part number for the ATP locks. Your dealer should be able to find the right number. Just impress on him/her that a guy you know ordered them a couple months ago. The process took me about 2 hours. It really doesn't look any different than the standard ones except for the keyhole in the middle of the ****. I wish I could describe the process to you guys a little better than I did. I just can't remember every step it took. If you're mechanically inclined you should be able to do it.

That's pretty cool , and manufactured by Polaris. I wonder if all the keys are the same?
Polaris probably could have pre installed these , using the same ignition key, that would be nice and worth paying extra for.

The ATP locks look good MooseHenden. Any idea on length and diameter?

They are not exact because of the cylinder that the **** and hook turn inside. The ATP is exactly 45 degrees off of the X2 cylinder. So, you have to use the X2 cylinder and hook, and use the ATP lock and ***** if I remember right. I also had to shorten the cylinder by about an 1/8th of inch. It was trial and error until I got it fitting pretty good. You also have to figure out where the pin that comes out of the lock will be in the cylinder and drill a hole large enough for it to lock into. I can't really show any pictures because it won't really show it well. They do look like they belong on there.

Has anyone swapped out the front storage box latches for locking latches on an 07' Polaris Sportsman 800 X2?
Would the Polaris ATP Front Cargo Box Locks work for multiple years (05'-08') with some modifications to the locking set?
I'm gunna say yes.
