400 Sport vs 400 Scambler specs

By the looks of things one would be better to ride a night vs the other, thats all I can notice.

The 400 scrambler came in both 2wd and 4wd models also.

We also can't forget the trailblazer 250,330 and scrambler 500s that has been a good chassis for polaris.

Main thing is most Scramblers are 4x4.In 1999 Polaris was phasing out the Sport and changing to Scrambler 2x4 and 4x4.

The sports Head light sure is small and useless but looks sharp. The Scramblers two big bug eyed headlight look more functional but ugly.

Difference's in years are in 97 they added concentric chain drive, and I believe that was the year they (don't hold me) that they made the front wheels shaft driven instead of chain and in 01' they got rid of the fox rear shock.
