Default frame lightning?

you are trying to get into a area that cost money that you dont have by the sounds. it is usually expensive to mod out anything and if you dont have a buget to work w/ you would be very limited in what to do. imo.</end quote></div>

I was kind of wondering the same thing.

If I was going to ride it for just a couple of years I would just drive it, and I don't care what you do to a 10 year 250, it isn't going to win many races with todays machines.

It is cool to add a personal touch to anything, but you should save what money you don't have for repairs in the future, tires, etc.

Default frame lightning?

wouldnt nerfs be lighter than the floorboards?

and i have money to mod it a bit, i want to have fun with what i have, this thing sucks compared to my buddies quads, i cant sell it, so couldnt you just respect my choice to play around with this thing? instead of insisting i do nothing to it. and for your info, there are trailblazers that can blow the wheels off of bigger quads. ive seen em.

its comfy, and if i get it to a point where i like how the modding is going i just might keep it longer.

its easy to say "just wait" when you ride 2008 800 sportsmans.

its clear to see your not even fully reading my posts, as noone has answered one of my questions which was "what is a battary eliminator kit"

i was just seeing if there is anything on the frame that is not totally necessary, that way when i get this new frame i can just cut it off and save a little weight.

come on guys, not everyone is as fortunate is you and is able to afford a 2008 quad. i have to work with what i got, please respect it.

A battery eliminator kit I believe this is my interpretation of it.Is that you take out the battery and the starter. So that it can be started via the pull starter.Taking away the battery and the sarter, and all the wiring nessasary to use the electric starter.Idk if thats what it is but that is my interpretation of it.

That's my best guess. When I gues I'm usually right but sometimes I'm way off. I read every word of every post but can't answer every question. I don't know everything. Not yet anyway.

And another thing when Rick ritter tells you that something you want to do your trailblazer, scrambler or sport listen this guy has a reputation for being one of the best at building these quads.

COME ON PEOPLE WAKE UP

im thinking alum. wheels also, how much weight would that save and is it worth the money?</end quote></div>

Do not buy alunimum if your gonna invest in wheels to lighten up your atv by carbon fiber from Hiper i know people that run these in my micro sprint cars that way 800lbs with 140hp at the rear tires and have rolled there car at 90mph and didn't bend one. stonger and lighter. http://www.hiperracingwheels.com/ deff the way to go. beedlocks make it easy to change your tires without a big tool just a bead breaker no need for a machine. and you can run lower air preshure without it coming off the rim i run beadlocks all around on my car wouln't run without.

ouch i just noticed about $140 idk how much alunimum is but they are actualy only 15 dollars more than the alunimum for the race cars. noone runs steel on the race cars so i don't know how much stronger they are than the steele but i am guessing they still are alot i saw the indoro cross the other day on the speed channel and the guys up front had these rims you can tel by the colored beedlock rigs and black rims.
