frame lightning?

Default frame lightning?

does anyone know how places like azbadboyz lighten frames?

i might aqquire a new TB frame and im thinking my dad and i might lighten it up, maybe paint it and swap out.

anyone know? please help!

Default frame lightning?

i did a little searching and what i found was replacing some of the frame parts with chromly and completely eliminating others...any advice on what is good to take off and what is not?

im thinking alum. wheels also, how much weight would that save and is it worth the money?

You need to drill holes in the frame all over it , Alumuinum Wheels, smaller 2 ply tires, Aluminum handle bars, remove the racks, build aluminum swing arms and whatever else you could lighten, i posted once on getting Sportmman lighter and got hardly any responses.

i know this forum is great for most questions but some, are terrible..noone will respond lol

wont drilling holes weaken it?

im doing all those mods for xmas..but this damn thing is so heavy 461 dry is too much for a 250.

Get a 2-stroke Polaris 400 engine and put it in that frame. You can get at least 75 horsepower if you mod it right. Then your power:weight ratio will be much better than if you lighten the frame and keep the 250 engine.
