went mudding today
i have a 08 popo 800 and my wife has a 05 outlander max 400 .me and my boy decided to go mudding to see how good the popo really is.it has 900 kms on it and have never really went mudding so why not.so we went out and found some nice 3 or 4 ft deep holes and the shortest one is about 10 ft long and just gets longer from there. we hit about 5 different ones and all was well they were getting deeper as we went.we came up to on that was about 60 ft long .we both have winches and thought no problem.so i went thourgh and about 20 ft in it just drops and deep mud and water but no problem i just putted right through it.then the boy came through and when he hit the drop sunk and filled the belt with water and was done.so i went back through by him hooked up the tow rope and drug him out back wards.now if the bomb had a drain plug like the popo we would be laughing but no deal.so being crazy i towed him home back through all the holes with no problem.i have the stock pxts on it and wasnt sure about it but they worked great and made it through them all with no problems and was quite impressed .then another 11 kms of mountain trail and we were home .so to make a long story short popo 1 bomb 0

With it in neutral or park one might add.</end quote></div>
That's the way you had to do it on a Polaris for several years before they finally put a drain plug in.

I suggest you still should do that after you drain it to make sure it is thoroughly dry.
