I just finished installing the reverse light mod, Triple Headlight, Temp gauge, and Reverse override. These were so easy to install. The instructions are simple.
If you are thinking about installing any of these......do it. Make sure you solder the connections and use the liquid tape or plastic dip.
These mods are like having a brand new machine.

I would like to hear more about the "Reverse light mod"?

Also, let us know if the 3-light mod drains the battery dead on you.

The reverse light mod incorporates the factory installed work lights and the back up lights. Talk about mucho light when you are backing up in the dark. This was great to have while trail riding (exploring) and not being real familiar with the area.

I will keep you posted on the 3-light, as it was not installed before the last rid I went on.

Where did you get these mods? Sounds like something I would like to do to my machine.

Concerning the "REVERSE WORKING LIGHTS" do you get anymore light then
just putting your rear light on when backing up? Is there some wire cross that
envokes more light?

Regards,

R'

read here. there are some diagrams in this thread.
there are 2 ways to do it. 1 is with a diode (might burn out your light switch this way) or you can get a relay (the safest and most reliable way but requires a little more know-how)
