Default cmp plow on 08 500ho

I mounted a 60" cmp plow on my 08 sportsman 500 ho. It has the old style push tube so i bought the new kit from moose country for the mounting plate and adapters for the push tube. Got it on, so i hook up my winch to the plow and whoa, my cable rubs on my brushguard, anybody else have this problem, any solutions????

You could try gluing a heavy piece of rubber or plastic tubing on the brush guard where it is rubbing. Eventually it will rub through, but should last for a while.

Your only other option may be to remove the brush guard for the winter.

i made my own fairlead, i didnt want to permanently mount something to my brushguard, but i had to drill holes for this, o well, if i would have called polaris, they prob would have told me to buy a diff brushguard or something, but it works....amazingly well and looks decent!
