If charge coil shows no reading, wont have fire even if trigger coil good!! Yes I replace stators because charge coil integrated into main body and not separate like the trigger coil! Replace a stator with a bad charge coil a few weeks ago and solved problem! You stated that would try to run and die after repair work? Could have been on its last leg any way! Depending on model I think charge coil should show about 440 ohms resistance? I think I have read where some posters have been able to have stator repaired, just hang loose,I'm sure others will help. I'm at a dealership and you know what we do there!!!

If you have new head gasket and base gasket and torqued properly, but getting coolant in combustion chamber then head or cylinder probably warped! I have had this too! You can try to have the head machined down about .005 to see if solves problem,BUT the bad one I had I had to Have head and cylinder machined down! This happens when engine has severely overheated! Could be your problem.

Would just be pumping out of counter balancer vent tube if leaking badly, coolant would have to get through 2 seals(counter balancer seal behind gear and also crank seal itself!

alright, I pulled head back off and took it to a machine shop, its not worped at all. Put it back together and pressure tested the head through the upper water side and plugging the return hose off it held 20psi and i couldnt hear anything leaking on the head. started it up and let it run for little over an hour and doesnt seem like im loosing any antifreeze in the radiator but its smokin like CRAZY.....white smoke. If you rev it up and let it idle down by itself it acts like its going to die when it gets to the idle on derev. starts fine i dont know what i got going on......how long would it take to burn out the antifreeze in the exhaust if it was left over from the blown headgasket the first time? any other ideas let me know
