Like I said, will pull start and run, lights and everything else works while idling.
Electric start there is nothing happening, no power gets to the lights or winch.
I think my near new battery might be toast.
I need some suggestions.

Battery only for starter and lights has nothing to do with ignition. lights usually will work when running because of current from stator into reg/rectifier then to battery. IF battery is dead eventually will pop bulbs because of battery or reg/rectifier overcharging and current takes the easiest route which is the lights. Replace battery, then check that charging 14-14.5 volts at battery if not then check that reg/rectifier wires(located under front panel near radiator) are connected. yellow, yellow/red,red,brown If connected then reg/rect suspect. Good luck

Ok thanks I'll try that, I just bought an smart charger and charging up the battery as we speak. It will tell me if my battery is done though it's currently at 75% charge right now.

Hopefully will solve problem, but if battery is old (3 or more years old) and frequently discharges, may not hold charge. sulfation ,age and allowing batteries to sit drain the life out of them. If a new battery is required a simple battery tender/maintainer for about 25-30 bucks is well worth the money and will give longer battery life. Good luck

Well it seems like my battery is the problem after all. Even after being charge up it only has 8.5 to 9 volts in it, must have a dead cell in it.
