Default Sportsman 500 AWD problem

My speedometer broke and I took it out to try to repair it. Turned out I ruined it beyond putting back together so I no longer have a speedometer. I have read the forums about grounding the white/brown wire for your AWD to work by bypassing the speedometer. I assume this is if you have speedometer correct? I can not expect this procedure to work without a speedomete correct? Thanks in advance.

Default Sportsman 500 AWD problem

that is a very good question. since you have no speedo to put back in if you can find the right wire it might be worth a quick try. dont know if differnt years had differnt locations of the wire or if they all were the same. just becasreful not to screw up the awd circuit by shorting it out.
