i agree with whoever said the worst quad is yours when it breaks down!!
The worst currect production quad? Probably that artic cat 250 with the heel toe shifter. I don't understand why someone would buy that thing. The explorer 250 or the timberwolf 250 would be better
And how would the trailblazer be the worst 250 Sport, besides being the only one!

My vote goes for the outdated, uncomfortable, never goes into gear, headlight bulb rattling loose warrior. How can they still sell them things for that much? Weren't balloon tires gone in the 80's? Why such a low 1st gear on a sport quad? Why such a low reverse gear? Why such a stiff seat? Why such a..............

I got a 98 sportsman in 98 and in the 6 months I had it, it was in the shop 5 times for different things, Trainee, a knocking in the motor never found what that was, brake pads fell off new rotor and brakes, seal around the belt housing leaked, 4wd button would not work. Traded for a AC and never looked back in 4000 mil.

I had a 98 honda forman every time I got in mud and water I had no brakes constantly taking them apart and cleaning them.Within 1500 miles I had to replace all seals and bearings in front end and rearend. In cold weather it would not run until you warmed it up for about 30 min.

Well, it wasn't new when we got it. I think it was a 93 machine. I don't think it was called a Bayou yet. I would have just said it was our particular machine that was a lemon, but a neighbor got a similar machine & it had ignition troubles, too. In the past, we had an old Kawasaki 3 wheeler from the late 80s and it would just go and go. The feedlot where my brother worked before had a 96 or 97 Bayou 300 that wore out 4 or 5 sets of tires, with no trouble, so I know they are OK now. I guess at the time we just got one of the lemons.
