I installed my winch today. Alot eaiser than I thought it was going to be. Took about an hour and a half to two hours. No problems at all.
I did use the solinoid and i did not put a toggle swithc in, yet. I'll wait and see.
The next mod will be a filter. Maybe a clutch spring after that if I can find out how to do it myself or have someone help me. Oh yea, the wife said I need to get a rear seat box so that she can ride comfortably!!! I guess i cant argue since she bought the quad for me for x-mass!!!!!!!

I'm using mine without the toggle switch. So far, no problems. They mounted it on the side of the pod, and it looked to me like it was just WAITING to be knocked off by a tree limb or something. I wired the solenoid direct.
