The cheapest place to pick up the kit, that I have found is eBay.
I run mine at the recommended 40:1

Check needle and seat first! Can assume pumping too much oil when at times too much fuel can cause excessive smoking! Also what oil are you using, can have a lot to do with it. Also pull exhaust cleanout plug to see if can blow out some of the cabonized chunks of oil.Check oil pump at front of machine for corrosion and maybe pump arm frozen. If not using synthetic oil,can cause excess smoking. "smokeless' oil might help,BUT wording not politically correct.ALL 2-stroke oil will smoke,JUST some better quality oil will smoke less. Also does it use too much coolant? Seeping head gasket can cause coolant to enter combustion chamber and smoke. Oil pumps pretty reliable unless water damaged.

Why don't you just adjust the cable on the injection pump?

It did have all kinds of antifreeze problems.....everything is fixed and now it smokes from oil......How do you check to see if it is in adjustment and if not how do you adjust it? I am using polairs 2stoke synthetic oil. The exhaust plug will not come out its stripped out and frozen in there......

oil pump wheel has a mark that lines up with mark on case in oil pump cavity. At idle no throttle, both marks should line up.If not unlock nut on adjuster screw and adjust, tighten nut.
