Light Dimming Issue
I have a strange problem. The lights on my ATV dim and flicker on and off after my engine gets to operating temperature. This happens to all lights including the speedometer light.
It acts like a short in the electrical wiring, but the lights work fine for about five minutes then they go hay wire. I have a new battery. It happened with the old battery too.
I have a Polaris Sportsman 500 HO.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Light Dimming Issue
sounds like the rectifier/regulator module might be going bad on you. if you have a buddy that has the same type of bike as you try switchin the modules and see if the problem still exists.

Light Dimming Issue
Check all wires carefully. It help this guy. 2000 Sportsman dimming problem fixed.
