What I like about the 97 is the speedo has nothing to do with the AWD.

Yea that was great,but you had to either mess with the shift box switch or bypass the thing. Then Polaris got smart,moved the gear position switch to the transmission,smart move.Then they got dumb again and had the awd system going through the speedo. I always thought that an engineer should spend at least a couple years working on things as a mechanic before they designed a blame thing.Then some of them might grow a brain cell or two and make things a bit simpler to work on.
