Default How to remove stock hand warmers

I need to replace the handlebars and I want to remove the hand warmers without ruining them so I can reuse them. I used the air method to remove the grips, but the hand warmers are still wrapped tightly around the bars ( looks like they are glued on). Any ideas, as I don't want to damage them, they look fragile. Can they be pealed off without hurting them?

Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Caper, I will try heating them up and pealing them off this weekend. Hope I can save them, as new ones are $40. Will let you know how it goes.

I was able to get them off with a heat gun without damaging them. The glue is some nasty stuff.
