Oops, and I almost forgot, a "impossible terrain" avoidance system that analyzes what is out front and warns the operator if the terrain is beyond the capability of the machine.</end quote></div>
That would be cool but unusable. I can put my machine in places that others can't so the systen would have no true way of telling whats "impossible". Even though I can get into some pretty bad spots I'm sure the machine is more capable than I am so it could still get me in trouble.....There is no substitute for common sense.
I think maybe a system that could test a riders common sense before allowing the machine to start would be better....lol.</end quote></div>
There would be alot of "DEAD" machines out there thats for sure! lol

Here is an idea. One of those systems that chevy uses for fuel efficiency have it only run on one cylinder. It would save gas and if you put it into high range you could go high range regular:go fast, high range fuel mode:runs on 1 cylinder and has a limited speed capability.

Mine only runs on one cylinder. That actually isn't a bad idea though. Displacement on demand, 400-800 or 500-1000. It can run on one cylinder and circulate air through the other to cool off. And it would have to switch cylinders once in awhile to wear evenly.
