i got a question that doesnt really have to do with my problems. Im lookin for a new chain and sprocket set.. Should i get 13 or 14 tooth front and for the rear 36 37 or 38 . I like wheelies so, I also like goin fast too. I dont got too much bottom end but my top end is rediculous. Whats your opinion ?

as far as sprockets I have no clue, but the regulators hardly ever go bad, but if you could get it cheap, it wouldn't be a bad idea and yes the solenoid from ebay should work
as far as the batteries go, I would guess that replacing the solenoid should solve all your problems

I dropped to a 13 tooth front, rear is stock, I think 38? I haven't decided yet on dropping the rear. Mine wheelies great, 1,2,3rd gears. Great for trail riding and blipping over rocks and mud. I agree, too, that the top end is ridiculous. The rear likes to creep out from under at high speeds, don't like the feeling! A full exhaust will give you that low to mid torque you are looking for!

I have a full yosh exhaust... Thing is a monster with the baffle out.. Sounds like no other.. Shoots flames out between shifts at night.. 37 is stock for the rear.. I think Ill go with a 14 in the front.. Im not sure about rear though.. Would more teeth be better for the rear or less.. Like I said Im either goin 36 37 or 38. 37 obviously keeping it stock

I had the yosh exhaust on my 05, LOL, I remember the flames! Isn't 14 in front stock? If you drop a tooth, it will help your hole shot while reducing your top speed. I don't know the exact percentages and stuff, or how the front is different than the rear, but it has been widely discussed on this forum. Just do a search. It doesn't matter what atv you have, sprockets are sprockets. Hope that helps?

Hey guys. I took my starter out and took it apart... Turns out the hot wire that bolts ontop of the starter, how there is a square nut inside with another wire connecting power for the starter was snapped out burnt off.. So Im thinking I just need a starter. My buddy is going to try fixin it at work monday to try and reconnect the wires or something.. Now I just need to figure out why my batteries keep losing power? Could it have had something to do with the starter? Or just sitting for weeks at a time? I might get a new regulator just to be safe. I dont think I need a solenoid anymore.

I had this happen this weekend! LOL The more I ride this new used ATV the more "little things" I notice.
I was running the bike and had shut it down for about 45 minutes and went to start it up again and the display and fuel pump would work but I could not get it to turn over. Under the seat on the left side of the quad there was 2 red terminals that were loose.
