So I just looked at the Polaris ones. Do you reuse the original grips or do you have to buy new ones? If you replace them can you use the same style grip that is on it stock? I might be better off with the Pure ones but install would be a lil more involved and I may have to buy another set of grips cause I dont think they come with any... Is there anything else I should use to install them like grip glue, or something? I used to just slip them on with some hairspray and I was good to go.

I wouldn't get the polaris ones, for several reasons
1 the heat from the elements basically heats the handlebars too
2 you have to buy new grips

most of them are bigger, but there are some (can't rember which) that are very similar to the stock honda grips

The grips are very comfortable and are no larger than the stock grips....Rowe....click on that link I posted and right under the picture you'll see "read reviews"...Check that out and you'll see what people have to say about them that have them already.......I'm not trying to sway you any which way but these are really good and that price is too....

Yeah I read all the reviews last night and there wasnt a single bad comment about em. I'm heading to WV today to go to Cabelas and I'm going to buy them. I'm leaving for the cabin tomm. for bear season and now I'm gonna be wishing I bought them sooner so that I could be using them while I'm up there. Thanks for all your help guys and I'll let you know how it goes. Hey John where did you mount your control box? I'm sure it has to be easily accessible, but can you kinda mount it so that it looks good.

I can remember one very important step Rowe......Don't skip the wd 40 step......I even soaked the grips in hot water for just a bit to soften them a little....Good luck to you and have fun at Cabelas......I mounted the controller on the left handlebar..The little lights on the controller also can be dimmed for night riding so they don't bother your eyes too....I put a little piece of non skid tape between the bracket and the handlebar so it wouldn't slide too.....

Count me in the sissy club, I bought an 800 EFI Browning edition and it came with the handwarmers, I always have trouble with my hands getting cold, I took the ATV safety institute course last Sunday and it was about 30 degrees, kicked those things on and it was like holy crap WARM HANDS WHOO HOO!!!! The Polaris ones may be heating the bar, but they work very well.

Yippeee fellas, just got back from Cabelas, man I freakin love that place. Well I bought the handgrips. They are the ones you linked John, thanks for all the help! I owe you one. And thanks for all the help you other guys gave me too, I do appreciate having people to talk too about different products. I bet we save each other a lot of money in the long run. So anyway I picked em up and about a whole shopping cart of other stuff too. My wife even loves that place but she didnt get any handwarmers. I'm leaving for camp tomm. so I'll probably put em on later this week. Thanks for the advice and I'll let you all know how it goes. If I have any trouble I'm sure you'll be hearing from me.
