with factory tires i put 7# of air in mine they fell much better. the front tires are definitly to narrow.

 

OK, I’ll ‘fess up. I’m the guy who makes the Easy-Steer Kit. With tube bumpers, a winch and a 30# fuel pack on the front rack of my previous Sportsmans I found the Easy-Steer Kit and firm front springs to be necessities. The new steering geometry of the HO makes the kit unnecessary but there are still a lot of pre-HO machines out there. Email me personally if you want details.

 

I had some 25"x10"(wide)x 12" Titans left over from the back of my Autocat. I put them on my H.O. thinking they would help in the sand, boy did they ever!! and it steers easier too. The tie rod ends are about 3/16ths of an inch from the edge of the tires though, so far no problems.
It corners much better, all around the best upgrade I've made yet.

 

 

In the spirit of overkill (a subject not foreign to readers of this forum) I have take the advice of several people here (except the guy who wants me to trade for a Rubicon). I have ordered an easy steering kit, an improved lower steering bushing, a set of goodyear mudrunners (25" - not 26") and if needed will add a little extra air to the tires. Hopefully this wil resolve the issue!
