25" tires on a Scrambler?

Has anyone tried to put bigger tires on their Scrambler? I was looking at one today, and it didn't look like 25" tires would clear the fenders.
I'm also wondering if Yamaha rims will bolt on to a Polaris hub. Does anyone know if you can do that?

It can be done. Do a search. There is a guy around here with 25 or 26's on his Scrambler, but he had to move the floorboards forward.

Yeah ok, that was what I was thinking. I was wondering if you could do it without modifications.

How about the rims do you think?

I run Dirt Devils on my 2001 yellow scrambler. 25x12 rears, 25x8 fronts. They tape out at 24.5" rear & 25" fronts. All on Douglas rims. Clutch mods are a must when running this big of a tire.
Sorry for posting the worng size a few days ago under the post "dirt devils".

My scrambler has 28" tires on it. 25" tires will fit, but you will need to move the floorboards foward or extend the swingarm. Clutch mods are also a must. The yamaha wheels might fit the front of your bike polaris uses 4/156 in the front & 4/4 in the rear, some yamahas use 4/156 fronts but there arent any 4/4 yamaha wheels. What yamaha did the wheels come off of? Check out my scrambler at www.bertsdirtworks.com

The wheels are off a Grizzly.
I bought them for my Wolverine, and I've been sort of thinking about getting a Polaris. I was hoping that I'd be able to put tha Aluminum rims I just bought on my next quad (if I do decide to trade in)

The 25" dirt devils on my 01 scrambler fit without any floorboard mods. About 3/4" with out me on, and 1 1/2" with me on. I weigh 190 & run 4 to 5 psi in the tires.
