Default 2008 500 Sportsman Issues

I have a 2008 Sportsman I bought new I have around 200 miles on it. I am having a problem with it, while riding on flat land it runs fine. If I am in the rocks or going up a hill at low rpm about 1/2 throttle it bogs, kinda sounds like the rev limiter but if i give it more throttle it runs fine. A buddy of mine has the exact same model that kinda did the same thing but would not accelerate at all it would just bog and that was it. We took I to the stealership for service and they really did not say what the problem was, They said it had to do with the carb but did not say what. His runs good now but mine is starting to act up.

Thanks

sounds like the float isnt set right and it almost starts to run out of gas or maybe even the oppisit and getting too much and starts to flood it out. you know it pretty much has to be carb related if it only does it going up hill.

Wish I could help, but I can't. Mine runs fine. I would keep taking it back to dealer until they get it right.

Could be. I have a service manual for it and the float is not adjustable.
