Camo Turing Purple

I heard they have fixed that. It was apparently a matter of Polaris specs requiring a UV protective paint additive and the supplier cheaping out and not using one.
Not 100% sure it has been fixed, but word on the street is that is has.

My dealer claims last year when I bought my new 08' SP800 when I couldn't
decide over the Stealth Black or the CAMO. He said that Polaris fixed the problem
with the turning purple. He said that was on the older years prior to 06' I believe?
In fact he went on to say that the Black and CAMO are the more durable color choices
as they are heat molded into the plastic so if it tears, cracks or chips it will be the color
all through Vs. white behind the color like on other body colors.
Again I am only going by what he said.

Polaris fixed nothing.
My local dealer has had two 2008 Mossy Oak Sportsmans for sale for the last 3 months parked on their outside display (taken-in at night of course) and they both have a pronounced PURPLE shade to them.
They park them inside at night next to the 550XP in Mossy-Oak (fresh out of the crate!) and I can tell you they look even MORE PURPLE! LOL!
I do like the durable surface the MO has. I owned one a few years ago and it hid all the scratches normal plastic shows.

Hey, I thought of something else.
Do you want to see something REALLY funny?
Look at a couple year-old RANGER in Mossy-oak. The MO stickers on the bed look like brand-new BUT the HOOD looks like they pieced two different quads together because it's SO fadded and purple!
Gotta go check one out if you can! LMAO!!!

they have to know a problen and choose to not fix the problem. I sure wouldnt buy one thats new that already has a purple tint to it. And seeing the others with the purple tint i probably wouldnt buy the camo anyhow.
