Anyone replaced the rear tires on a recent TrailBoss for better traction. I'd like to replace the 489's on the rear with something more aggresive, especially in the mud. But they would need to great in hardpack, as we ride primarily on trails. Any suggestions or experiences?

I just replaced my T Boss tires with Duro HF243 mud and sand tires. They look identical to Wooly Boogers. They do really well in mud and seem to increase traction in all situations including hardpack. They are flat instead of round so they also give better stabilty. The great part is Dennis Kirk had them for $78 for the pair!! Even if you pay the $5 for an order under $100 that is a great price.

I bought Bearclaws and really like them. Chaparral Racing had the best price.
