Default 1999 Polaris Sportsman Transmission Fluid?

We just serviced a 1999 Polaris sportsman 500 that we bought. When we went to the dealer they gave us AGL to use on the transmission but now that I have looked around it says to use Polaris Premium Synthetic Gearcase Lubricant.

It looks like the transmission and rear gear box are all one. I could be wrong but thats what it looks like. Will it hurt to run AGL on the bike or should I go back and get the gearcase lubricant? As well is there a substitute I can run in this?

Thanks,
Wheels47

AGL just fine in transmission. Takes about 20 ounces after draining. 7/16" drain plug bottom of tranny.
