hi all my ?'s are iv bin redoing this old atv...my ? is as im climbing a hill in low it in my words jumps out of gear n then makes a grinding sound as if you were trying to shift manual tranny directly with no clutch or speed shifting...any suggestions on what mite be rong...does it sum ocaisonally in reverse but so far not in high please help me ...also any way that u can start the atv in gear...

 

check for missing teeth on you drive chain sprockets.

 

sorry new to the atv world...the drive chain is that the one from engine to tranny...if so no missing teeth

 

no grom the trans to the rear drive and from the trans to the frt drive.. the drive sprocket(trans) my be missing teeth..happened to mine and made a hell of a racket
