Default x2 snow plow?

Can anyone offer recommendations for a plow system for a 07' 800 x2 DLX? I have a conventional push tube model with manual lift on my honda rancher that has worked great. Is there anything new I should look at? How are the Glacier I & II models? thanks for the info.

I like my 60" Razr Polaris Glacier2 it is setup with mounts on both my 500X2 and the 800 Sportsman. Works great either way.
1 minute on, 30 secs off counting getting on and off the quad.

If you lived closer, I would sell you my plow. I think I used it once for about 5 mins. I have a V with a glacier I. I have an 07 X2, but I use a compact utility diesel tractor with a 6ft rear blade. I also have a two stage snow blower, walk behind model. I am not sure why I bought the plow.

Is the mount system very strong? I plow on some pretty rough gravel roads sometimes.

Yes on the Glacier I and II. I originally bought the wrong blade and got the Glacier II system. I took the whole thing back and got the V blade and the glacier I They are both very strong and the mount on the ATV is strong also. I think anybody here that has a Polaris system will tell you how strong they are. I checked on here before I bought. I just thought I would use mine more. My neighbor has a Honda 400??? That is all they use, but I have more clearance than they do and gobs more power and traction. But I have that 4x4 tractor and it is just so much easier to work with, hyd everything, auto tranny, no heat or cab though.

I have the Glacier plow wihe a 60" blade. I really like how easy it is to put on and take off. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it seems like a very strong and stable system.

I can hook mine up in just a few seconds too. No doubt it is easy cause you leave the one piece attached to your atv all the time and never notice that it is there again.

After doing a lot of research AFTER buying my Glacier2, if I were to buy another plow for my ATV, it would be between the WARN and MOOSE INDUSTRIES.

-Warn blade is 11 gauge

-Moose is 12 gauge

-Glacier is ??????? THIN...16, 18 gauge??(60" straight blade)

Visit the Warn website and check-out the new POWER ANGLE for an ATV snow blade. NICE JOB Warn. (be sure to watch the little video about it)

To mount the blade on the Moose is a cinch just like the Glacier2

To mount the blade on the Warn is slightly more challenging beacuse you have to reach underneath. BUT, MUCH more solid than the easy front mount of the others imo.

If you just use it as a toy to do a small driveway, you really don't have to think about a top-notch, solid set-up. You could get by with the sub-standard. If you (and others) RELY on you for plowing BIG snow and larger areas, you had better buy STRENGTH and SOLID DESIGN.(imo of course!LOL)

I think your application is for an X2 if I remember correctly, so most certainly opt for the 60" width!!
