New to the site, carb help trail blazer 250
#1
Just got a 95 trail blazer out of my garage after sitting for a few years, leaks fuel quickly just sitting in the garage, so I decided to take the carb off. After going thru it I see it needs a new needle and seat. Where do you reccomend getting these parts? Do I trust the ebay rebuild kits for $19.95? Just wondering what the pros here think.

Just a Polaris # 3130360 a pretty common needle valve assy,After market should be fine,JUST make sure it describes your model on applications.

thanks for the help! Also without a manual how do I know if this is the stock carb? I bought it second hand and they made some modifications but I forgot if they mentioned the carb or not..

I asked the same question here yesterday....(sportsman was doing the same thing) and everyone said the needle and seat. Went to the dealer yesterday and got a battery they said needle and seat as well.
As for the carb you can match it up with a microfiche from babits or something to make sure you have the stock carb. should be pretty easy to do.

I use the Ebay kits all the time. The kit is cheaper than buying the OEM needle valve
