Looking for a new engine for my 2000 Xplorer. Anyone know if the 400 from a scrambler will fit an xplorer?

 

If your Xplorer is a 400 2 stroke they are the same motor. Everything will bolt right up.

 

if your eplorer had the 300 engine the 400 engine will bolt in. ive done this but just the opposite. BUT you will have some issues with radiator mounts, airbox, wiring also the frame braces that go from top to bottom are at different angles.

its defenatly doable cuz ive done it but your gona need alot of parts from the 400 to make the swap. plus a welder....

 

This a 400 for a 400 swap. Just needed to be sure the engines are the same with the same mounting. Now I just need to find one.
