Default XP hand and thumb warmers

I noticed that someone here had hand and thumb warmers on their XP. Do the hand grips come off easy? Did anyone use the pure polaris ones and how well did they wire up?

The browning is a pretty good deal considering what it comes with.

I have them on mine. But sorry im no help as the dealer installed mine.I know nothing about electrical! I do know all the wires are inside the headlight pod though. I feel they work great. the thumb warmer can get VERY hot on high. I have to run the hand warmers on high as they do not get very hot on low. I would assume that is because they are a pad underneath the grips and not built right in.

I'm not sayin the polaris ones aren't good, but from what I hear, some of their heat goes right into the bar, since they do lay on top of the bar, I would get after market ones
Hot grips & cycle country are good, do a search on here, there have been several posts recently about them

If I go aftermarket it will be Symtec. Had them before and they are very nice and a great company. Just was thinking of getting the Polaris ones for the look/switches. May end up getting the Symtec though because of the heat settings. Anyone remove the handles from the bars? I just wonder if they are glued on like my kawi ones were.

yes the are a PITA to get off, I ended up cutting mine off, you could try compressed air, and try pulling on them, I don't have symtec, but I've heard good about them too, it would also be nice to have more adjustment

I have Polaris hand warmers/throttle warmer. The dealer installed mine but I do have the instuctions.Looks pretty easy.Instructions simply state to remove the grips from the handelbar.

I like the Polaris switches too.The dealer charged me $80 installed.
