changeing the primary spring
#11
I got mine from Ritter Cycle www.rittercycle.com and couldn't be happier. You can get them from Hot Seat or Dennis Kirk, but when you call Rick Ritter, instead of a secretary answering, Rick himself does. He can answer any questions you might have regarding the spring change and the differences between the white and green as compared to stock. I was impressed as he took the time to be sure I really understood what he was saying, instead of just pressing the sale. He must have spent 15 minutes with me, and I didn't buy $50 worth of stuff from him, but you can bet I'll call the next time I need something. I can't remember his phone # but remember his website. The # is listed there. As an added bonus, the color codes to the springs he carries matches the Polaris colors so you know exactly what you have. The springs from some places don't, so you have to have a chart to see that their red may be the same as a Polaris green, for example. Trust me, if you can change a tire, you can change the spring. The most difficult thing is remembering which belt cover bolt goes where as they are not all the same length.
