Heavy Duty Front Springs

Well, just got done plowing about 8" - 10" of snow... not sure if the spacers helped, but they couldn't hurt.
First thing I'm going to do is switch out the bar on the plow that the winch attaches to with a shorter chain. That will give me more, and quicker lift.

I just installed the Polaris HD springs (not sure about the part number right now) on my 05 700...and what a difference! $50 from my dealer and it is about 2" higher...no sag at all...and steers easier. Now I want to figure out ones to put in the back. I can crank up the adjusters, but I don't really need stiffer, just taller to match the front better.

I put the polaris HD front springs in my 08 SP800, great for plowing, but a little stiff for trail riding. I put EPI HD springs in front and back , lifted it about 1.5" steers easier, rides better then the Polaris HD springs.

Here is my take. I didn't really NOTICE anymore stiffness in the front. YES it does steer easier and I like the feel.
However, my cuz and friends had to point out to me how my rear looks like it is squatting now that my front is a little higher. And then I noticed it. I had to adjust my rear shocks all the way to compensate. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT to those who may be a little heavier (weight/height). BOTTOM line is your CENTER of GRAVITY! I think this may have contributed also to my flip over since the front was raised and the bottom squatted a little too much and didn't support me like I needed.
My Recommendation for for TRAIL use, plowing it worked great and added steering benefits too. I will also reap the benefit of my downed deer this season loaded on my front, LOL (Positive thinking!)

I put hilifter springs on the front of my 02 500HO and it is stiff as hell!! Me and a buddy sitting on the front rack makes it go down maybe 1 inch!! And that's around 400lbs!!Also, the cups that go over the top of the spring didn't fit over right. Kind of sitting on a angle a bit, but I don't think that made it any stiffer. Will these spring loosen up after some use??? They are the Polaris lift springs from Hi-lifter.
