Hey RR-JOHN your 08 Stealth Black sportman 800 looks like mine. I also have the "Body guard" style
rack extenders. Hey CSCOTTER that is what you need to look up is the body guards stuff and you will
find it.

Well I don't have rust like that on my exhaust, but I have rust on my aluminum lug nuts on the wheels.
Whats up with that? I thought aluminum was more resilent to rust?

But my Sportsman 450 (2006) exhaust manafold is completely rusted out, looks like it has
sat in water or something. I can't figure out why its so rusted?

How does this front rack extender install?

Do you have to drill holes and bolt it through the front flip up lid?

 

Actually the knockouts are all there for the self tapping screws, goes together pretty good.
A little finesing is needed with using the open wrenches, you'll figure it out though. Also for
the rear rack, NO NEED to remove the rack to get to the bottom, you can fit your wrench and
ratchet, pretty straight forward project. -- Hope this helps!
