Polaris 400 sport
1999 polaris 400 sport...reverse has not worked on this in forever. (automatic) started tryed to put in reverse and for no reason it died...would not start back up. the started is mangled, removed it...still will not pull start..the fly wheel is not turning at all......any suggestions????

the reverse is probably caused by a maladjustment on the shift linkage.
if the recoil doesnt turn the flywheel i would take the recoil housing off and see what is stuck shut on the recoil part or if the basket or cogs are still on the fly wheel.

Unplug the reverse limiter wire.Should be under the hood and has 3 wires.I think it is a black wire just unplug it.Or you can get a new Rev box they run in the $70 range
