Went to start my sons 50 today cause it was somewhat warmer out.

As usuall I cranked and cranked on it, which usually after awhile does it.

So I checked,it is getting spark, it is getting fuel past the fuel filter, but not to the carb.

I sparayed a little starting fluid in the air breather and it fired up but then of course died again.

last fall I put some stabil in it and had it running around X-mas

So carb problems? what do I look for or do next

Thanks all

I had this same problem with my Scrambler 50. I was able to get it running by squirting some gas in the spark plug hole. It must have been enough gas to keep it running until fresh gas made it through the system. They don't like to start too well after sitting for awhile. Hope this works for you.

There is service bulletin out on hard starting of the Polaris 50's and 90's. Cant remmber what is said. Check with your dealer. Also I have heard of a poor electrical connection at the coil so you may check that also.
