When I had the kind of plow that needed them I used hitch pins that have a wire clip to hold them in. That's what came with the plow. I still have a few lying around but I don't know what size you're supposed to have for your plow. http://www.wilsonmfgco.com/hitchpins/wirelockpins.htm

I use a similar pin as Jumbofrank only mine are square shaped wire clips. Here at my local hardware junkstore they call them "pto pins" $1.29 ea. Also I always have a couple spare nearby just in case. I also use them to secure my ramp under my trailer bed when I don't need to padlock it . Good Luck.

I've never had a Moose pin break on me so that is all I've ever used.

Any fleet/farm supply store should carry those type pins. Do you have a Tractor Supply Store in your area? Good Luck!!

They have hitch pins at Lowes and Home Depot, and any decent hardware store too. My plow had the pins with square wire loops to fit around the push tube. The Polaris Multi-Mount winch and bumper I had used smaller pins with round loops. Skinnier pins are good to latch a trailer coupler if you don't have a lock on it. Just make sure you get the right diameter and length. Probably 3/8" x 2-1/2 or 3 inch for the plow.
