Default 850 clutching question

I got mine to the woods today for the first time and agree there is some clutching issues w/27's. Revs to a certain spot and goes flat. Thought it was upshifting too fast at first but that wouldn't make sense unless we went to 25's. Definitely weight and or spring issue but I'm not at all familar w/Polaris clutching but we did alot of clutching on Ski Doo and I'll dig through notes and see what we did then to fix this issue. There are so many combinations and I'd hate to open up that can of worms again. Maybe there's a Polaris clutching guru that will get this dialed in and I can send him $$$ for his clutch kit.</end quote></div>

Yep...you see what I'm talking about? We may have to wait until May when Dalton starts testing. They said when machines act this way with larger tires it is normally alot longer process, and requires more trial and error to sort it out than if they just bog, which is more common of course.

Default 850 clutching question

Probally has the same design as the Hawkeye or similiar, Im gonna say its all in the rollers, Its sounds like Highoctane is saying it quits Pulling in the midrange "old hotrod terms" it may run 75 MPH but i would rather see it get to 65 MPH real quick by doing some roller work.

With stock 26"tires it doesn't quit pulling anywhere!
But, yes the 27's do have an effect that is noticable to me in the mid-range. Just not the effect your would expect from larger tires..
