Winch solenoid mount

Is there a location that is specifically designed for the solenoid to be mounted on a 2008-800?

I know that the 04's mounted right above the left rear tire!

so does the 08's
but its on the right hand side. its a piece of metal bolted to the frame rail w/ 2 bolts.

XT25 solenoid mount

If it's a heavy-duty CONTACTOR it goes on the frame above the left rear wheel. If it's just a plain SOLENOID you should put it somewhere out of the weather, like inside your rear cargo box.
