Rusted/Rusting exhaust pipes
All -
When I brought my ATVs out TODAY for some
work I just took a hard notice to WOW my
exhaust pipes are really rusting up! They are
washed and cleaned after each ride, protected
good from the weather etc. Take a gander
at a few of my pics below. Does any of yours
look like this? If so why? What can I do?

they all do that. i think even if you were to sand them down and use a black high temp paint it might help but think they would rust unless you did what he said to have them cerm. coated.</end quote></div>
Would powder coating them work?

I had a '99 Xplorer that rusted something aweful. I pulled the pipes, cleaned them up real good and painted them with flat black barbeque grill paint. Turned out pretty good. The guy that bought it a couple of years later even commented on how good they looked.

Yea, if I known this was going to do this maybe I could of sprayed something on it? I am always
re-touching the paint on my brush guard and bumper. I like Polaris products but I notice almost
all the silver nuts/bolts rust. I finally coated mine with black to match the bumpers. Its a shame I
gotta keep doing this! Also, noticed that my stock rim lug nuts are starting to rust, whats up with
that? I thought they were chrome!
